SITA and Jamaica collaborate on technology
SITA created a Digital Travel Declaration platform that will allow travelers to quickly and easily submit all required immigration, customs, and health documentation through one easy platform.
Digital Travel Declaration will be able to process information for Jamaica’s Passport, Immigration, and Citizenship Agency (PICA). This will ensure a safe, smooth return to international travel in countries where tourism is an important part of the economy.
If you use this digital service from SITA, you will avoid long queues at the airport and instead will digitally declare your travel document data. This saves everybody time and ensures their safety.
Data from immigration and customs will be collected from passengers through an online platform. The government of Jamaica has created the Digital Travel Declaration system, which consolidates these processes into a single, simple platform for passengers to submit all required documents and data for travel authorization.
