Mass-native to be named President-elect Joe Biden’s deputy chief of staff
President-elect Joe Biden will name Massachusetts native Jennifer O’Malley Dillon as Deputy Chief of Staff, ABC News has learned. Dillon, 44, who became the first woman to lead a Democrat campaign to victory, joined Biden’s team in March just as the COVID-19 pandemic took hold of the country. During the Franklin native’s tenure, she helped to grow the campaign’s digital operation and set record-breaking fundraising totals that helped lead to Trump’s defeat.She is expected to serve alongside Biden’s newly announced chief of staff Ron Klain by accepting the role.
