NEW DELHI: Danish audio brand Jabra has launched its latest true wireless earbuds — Elite 85t. Successor to the Jabra 75t, the earbuds come with a price tag of $229 (Rs 16,826). The earbuds will go on sale starting November 2020 and the company will introduce a new Titanium colour variant next year in January. At the launch of Jabra Elite 85t, the company also announced that it will enable noise cancellation in Jabra 75t via a free OTA update.
The Jabra Elite 85t comes in four colour options — Gold/Beige, Copper/Black, Black and Grey and Titanium/Black. The true wireless earbuds come with the company’s advanced active noise cancellation and sport a new Semi-open design. The device also claims to offer improved call quality with a 6 microphone setup.
The Jabra Elite 85t comes with 12mm drivers which promise to deliver powerful bass and it also has a new semi-open earphone. The hearable features oval silicone EarGels which as per the company offer a more comfortable experience and keep the earbuds securely fit in the ear canal.
The true wireless earbuds come with a dual dedicated ANC chip for Jabra’s Advanced ANC technology. Same as the Elite 75t, the Elite 85t also supports Hear Through mode which enables users to hear the surroundings if they want to. The new 6 microphone setup comes with enhanced noise cancellation functionality and wind protection for better call quality. The device comes with IPX4 rating which makes the earbuds water and dust resistant.
The company claims that Jabra Elite 85t promises to offer 5.5 hours of battery backup on a single charge with ANC on. And with the charging case, the earbuds manage to churn out 25 hours of battery backup. The charging case also supports wireless charging.
